At Wiser Property Advisory, we don’t just talk the talk—we’ve walked the walk. My wife and I have built our own property portfolio over the last 10 years, now valued at nearly $5 million across seven properties.
But it wasn’t always that way.
The Journey That Shaped Our Passion
Like many of us, I grew up believing that success meant working hard, saving for a home, paying it off, and then retiring. I graduated with an Economics degree and worked in some of Australia’s biggest industries—technology, banking, and startups. By all measures, I thought I was doing well for myself. But something felt off.
I was working hard, but I wasn’t feeling fulfilled. And the thought of working until 67 to retire terrified me. I realised that many of my colleagues and friends weren’t passionate about their work either. They were simply “doing it for the money,” and that was a bitter pill to swallow.
I started asking myself… Is this what life is about?
After 10 years in the corporate world, going through multiple restructures and the constant fear of losing my job, I knew I needed to change my path. I didn’t want to rely on a job to make money. And I didn’t want to keep chasing promotions just to feel like I’ve achieved something.
That’s when I became obsessed with property. I jumped headfirst into reading books, attending seminars, and learning from some of the best property experts in Australia. I wanted to make my money work for me, so I wouldn’t have to depend on a job to make money.
The Transition to Helping Others
Fast forward to today, and my wife and I now own seven properties and are on track to achieve our passive income goals within the next 5-10 years. But It hasn’t been a smooth journey… there were plenty of bumps along the way. We’ve made mistakes, trusted the wrong people, and learned the hard way how important it is to have someone genuinely working in your best interests.
Our experiences led me to want to help others avoid the same mistakes. I didn’t want anyone to fall into the trap of working with people who were only focused on commissions, rather than their clients' long-term goals. That’s why I founded Wiser Property Advisory.
I’ve made it my mission to help everyday Australians like you make smart property decisions, build a solid portfolio, and achieve financial freedom - without the stress, confusion, or mistakes we made along the way.
